I had a quick visit (although we could have talked forever!) to meet Kate at her amazing shop in Lancaster: Northern Yarn.
We talked all things sheep/wool/yarn/knitting (over tea and pastries..a woman after my own heart!) and I had a chance to immerse myself in all her lovely British breeds on offer around the shop (she even talked me into confronting my sock knitting fears, and I came away with a ball of spaced dyed Blue Faced Leicester yarn from WYS).
We've been plotting and have some exciting things coming up to push the views of British wool.
