HERITAGE

The Berrichon Du Cher sheep breed was developed in France, with their breed society being established in the UK in the 20th Century.

They are found in specialist flocks across the UK.

The Berricon Du Cher sheep breed is a large breed, with a good crimped fleece. Neither the rams nor ewes have horns.

FLEECE

Their medium-fine fleece is used in knitwear yarns, and is also used in the Japanese bedding market.
