The Romney sheep breed has been found around the South East of England since the 13th Century.

They are now found in small flocks around the UK, but mostly in South East England.

SHEEP

The Romney sheep breed is a hardy sheep. They have adapted to harsh weather conditions. They have wool on their forelock, which also covers their cheeks.

FLEECE

The Romney fleece is a heavy yet soft fleece, with a slight sheep to it.

The Romney has a versatile fleece, which can be used in hand knitting yarns, knitwear, carpets and blankets.
