HERITAGE

The Suffolk sheep breed was developed in Britain in the 1800's, by crossing a Southdown ram with a Norfolk horn ewe.

They are now found in flocks across the UK.

SHEEP

The Suffolk sheep breed are hornless, and produce good quality meat lambs.

They have black legs, and a black head and ears.

FLEECE

They have a dense, soft fleece which is white to creamy in colour.

It is commonly  blended to create apparel wools, knitting yarns and in bedding products.
