HERITAGE

The Devon Closewool breed was developed over 100 years ago, through crossing a Devon Logwool and an Exmoor Horn.

They are now predominantly found in South West England.

SHEEP

The Devon Closewool sheep breed is a hardy sheep. They are hornless and have fleece that covers their head and legs.

FLEECE

They have a dense white fleece which is crisp yet soft. Sometime the fleece contains some kemp.

The fleece is commonly used in carpet blends.
