HERITAGE

The Lincoln Longwool sheep breed, aw we know it today, was developed in Lincolnshire in the 1700's.

They are now classed as a rare breed, but can be found in Yorkshire and Humberside.

SHEEP

The Lincoln Longwool sheep breed is one of the largest British breeds.

They have a white face and legs, and both rams and ewes are hornless.

FLEECE

They have a heavy fleece, which is long and lustrous.

It has traditionally been used in home furnishings and textiles.
