HERITAGE

The Texel breed was introduced into England in the 1970's from Holland.

They are now found in flocks across the UK.

SHEEP

The Texel sheep breed is a muscular sheep. They have no horns and a compact neck, leading to a hairless face and ears.

FLEECE

The Texel fleece is of a medium length, it is densely green and has a soft/medium handle.

The fleece is used in blends of cloth, knitwear and carpets.
